stumped

when i pull #1 plug wire there is no change in sound like others. have good compression at 175 psi. swaped plugs,coils but problem stay's at #1 hole.It is a 1998 120 h.p. seems to run ok in water,any advice?

Did you actually check the spark?Put on a sparkie and see if it's there.$6 at most auto stores.If you have spark and it doesn't affect the motor when you remove the lead,then do another compression test.
I had a motor with 150# on all three but the head gasket was still bad.J

If the spark and compression check out good, verify there is actually gas getting to that cylinder.

pulled the top carb. sure enough broken reed left bank any suggestions on good place to find the parts have looked a few places but no luck. Thanks for the help.
