They were giving away free HBO for 3 days on Dish Network so I scanned through to see what was on. I noticed a movie called Temple Grandin......
it sounded hokie and tree huggerish so I looked at the info and noticed it had one of my favorite female actors in it (Julia Ormond) so I turned it on. I was immediately interested and although I only got to see the last hour or so, it was one of the best movies I've seen in quite a while. The cattle handling systems she designed were just works of art. I love to see someone that truly knows animals demonstrate the right way to handle them. I am somewhat good at dog training, and have found it repulsive to see some folks who have no idea how to handle an animal, "train" their dogs. I myself could use the help of a real dog trainer to fix many of my problems in training, but a person who understands the mind of an animal is very rare. Obviously this Temple Grandin did.
Neat movie, you should see it,
