64 Johnson 60hp turns over but won't fire.

Hi,

I have a 1964 Johnson 60hp Super Seahorse. I bought it 1 year ago. I was able to start and run it then. Last August I replaced the throttle and shift cables. After doing so it will not fire only turns over. Last month I replaced the plugs. Any help would be appreciated.

You gotta start somewhere. I'd start by checking the spark.

Has it been running since you put the new stuff on it?
