Exaust pipe bolts tough

Man am I having a tough time getting those bolts started for the exaust pipe to transom assembly all by feel on bottom bolts had one fall into space where trim lines go through but got it out . Will be trying again today an I think I will put a small rag in that space this timeand remove it when I am done. Any tricks or just keep at it? 350 merc. Alpha 1 outdrive

Your trying to monkey with a Y pipe on V8 with the engine still in?

Sorry... there's no advice for that! But good luck :)

I think monkey is the key word here, as you would have to be one to get to those bolts with engine in place!!!

GOT IT! no to bad yesterday was a busy day fitting the transom plate and the rest of the misc. stuff and then trying to do that tedios job at the end of the day was not a good idea after a good night rest started in the morn. went right together while engine was in but shifted foward alot
