Outdrive

[JACKED UP]

I have 1981 grady w\alpha drive cant pull entire outdrive seems to be stuck i read other answers on this itried pulling prieing but it still wont come loose its in foward all bolts are loose it only moves about a1\4 inch any ideas would be appr. Dont want to break housing someone said about rust if thats the case how do i get by that ITS A 140 MERC

Get the manual from the Adult Only section ,first link on the top of the page
Make sure it`s in full fwd gear, and pull
Of water has gotton in the bellows and rusted thing up a bit there are some tricks to removing the drive witout damage.
DO NOT PRY WITH ANYTHING, ANYWHERE

heard some one say they put a 2x4 behind it where it closes down fully and dropping the drive down on the 2x4 eventuall got it to pull forward hope this helps
