I have a 1448 g3 boat with a 30hp johnson. Engine runs fine, idles great and very easy on fuel consumption. Will plane out nicely when i am only person in boat. runs 24 on speed ometer, but when i take a fishing buddy it will not plane out. have to work the trim down, let engine build all speed it can then very slowly work trim up. Sometimes buddy has to go to middle of boat to get on plane. I did customize boat with mig welder and anuminum to deck boat and added a console. Would love to get boat tp plane out with 2 people. What prop or tuneing can i do to achieve this goal?
