I have a 2002 Fletcher, new Boat to me, with a 130 Yamaha 2 stroke outboard, I have only been out on it twice, the first time it ran sweet as a nut but seemed choked on idle at initial start up but then cleared, yeterday second trip we went wakeboarding and after an hour it just seemed choked when running on idle, it ran ok when throttled up but after an hour just sounded choked on idle and kept stalling and not wanting to start unless I pushed the throttled foward quickly, the boat has had the auto choke removed and I use the manual choke to start it, this was fully closed, I checked.
The only thing I have done this time was top the 2stroke tank up with a gallon of 2stroke Quicksilver oil , I remember my the mercury on my last boat ran rich when I put Quicksilver oil in it. This is a new-ish boat 135hrs but has been used at sea, so I am not sure whether it is just the oil, or fuel filter/mechanical, any suggestions please before I start stripping and looking in the wrong area.

IF the auto choke you are talking about being removed is the prime start system, then I would recommend putting it back on so the motor will run properly at idle cold and warmed up
