Hi,
When traveling at high speed (if you consider 35 mph high speed with my 70HP outboard
), my engine suddenly shuts off. It will restart, only to shutoff again a little later. I have been told that it is "probably" a fuel issue, and that I either have bad gas or a plugged fuel filter.
Question - I own a 17ft Glastron with an internal tank. Does anyone know if there is a fuel filter near the tank? The problem is that the fuel line enters the tank below my floor and I can not see the clamp to get the hose off. Before I proceed any further, I would like to verify that indeed there is a filter there.
Thanks for any help you can provide. Also, any other thoughts on what may be causing my motor to just shutoff like that?
Thank you!
