It is for a 18' boat with single axle. It does not have surge brakes and looks like bunks on the back and rollers on the front. Has a standard manual cable crank. It is in very good shape. Typically what does an average trailer like this go for?

Ok, I just looked at it.

It is an escort bunk trailer with a fixed winch. It is for an 18' boat. Maybe a 19' could fit, but definatly not a 20'.

Looking for only a rough value.

I can't help with the value but can tell you the material it's made of has a large influence on the value. Is it aluminum, painted mild tube or -beam steel, galvanized? Any rust? Decent wheels and tires?

Most likely galvanized.

It is square metal tube painted black. Rims are real nice and clean, tires should be replaced but they still hold air.

Its kinda important that I have a rough idea of its value. What I am asking is a *rough* estimate of typical value of a 18'-19' boat trailer. I understand it can get specific, but I only want a rough value.

Value is determined by what the buyer is willing to pay. Call around, look in publications in your area, check craigslist for prices.

If you need it really bad and it's the only one available, then it will be worth more to you than if you don't and there are others available.

I sold an aluminum trailer for a 22' boat for $2500, which was more than the going price for comparable trailers, but there weren't any others out there and the guy needed it NOW. (Didn't know all that at the time though.)

Without at least a couple pictures to view, a possible value will be very difficult to access.

A steel trailer may have more value up there than here in
Fl. but just as a guess (starting point for the arguments) $500 - $800.

Non-galvanized single axle in that size....I'd say $300-$500.
