I came up with a reading of 60.

I'm betting that it will run. May not start or idle well but could do just fine. But I'd be much happier with 70+. Keep us in the loop for the learning experience.

FWIW, (if anything!) I recently had to replace the powerhead on an air-cooled '70 Chrysler 3.6 horse originally designed by West Bend. The book called for 65-75 PSI. A friend came up with a used powerhead that had compression in the lower 90s.
I've never had a easier starting, sweeter running or slower idling small single!
