Re: arriva boats

I looked at an Arriva when I was in the market to purchase a boat this year. I ended up passing mainly because the motor had a core plug pop. I think you are talking about the Arriva's around 1990, built by Bayliner or for Baliner. There is some info at the bayliner owners club forums.

I looked at a 2450, 454 bravo unit seemed like a nice boat, I liked the style and they were a pretty quick hull from reading. Parts are very hard to come by, do not break one of the curved glass panes as they are really hard to get so I have read.

Good luck

Re: arriva boats

A good friend of mine had an Arriva 2350 with a 454 back in that timeframe and it was a very nice boat. The thing would haul butt, I know that. We went out with them on it just about every weekend for several years. Ironically, this was when I lived in Albany, NY, so that area must be big on that brand.

Yes as far as I know. That one being a 97 is considered a gen 2 which there is not a whole lot of info on when I was researching the 90 I was looking at.

Re: arriva boats

cant speak for the wholle arriva line.....but the bottom hull mold is the same as a bayliner capri.
(90's ish)

i do know that the 2 that i have ripped apart are considerably better built than the capri, and they are better finished.

but basically its a higher end capri.

Re: arriva boats

I think they were related to Bayliner (owned by, made by, or something...), but that boat didn't in any way resemble a Bayliner to me, so Its probably along the same lines as Lexus being owned by Toyota or something.

Re: arriva boats

Thanks for all the info guys. Not realy sure what to do here. Boat seems real clean and been taken care of. I just don't know how it's going to be in 3-4 chop. Also I realy wanted efi/mpi. And it's a carb engine so not sure about that.
