Info on gph usage

Hello everyone am looking to get some info on how much gph would be used between a 502 fi 415hp,496 Mag ho.,454mag 385hp.,7.4 mpi. At cruising speed in this boat.

Click around on boattest.com, you can see the test data for several boats with different power options.

WAG - boat that size with a single engine should return 2.5+/-mpg at cruise speeds.

Cruising speed in that boat is going to be around 40-45 MPH at 3400 to 3800 RPM. I would expect to get 2.0 MPG, regardless of engine choice. GPH would be about 20. At WOT, the 502 should use about 33 GPH, the 454 MAG would use about 31 GPH.

My 7.4 MPI equipped, 6000 lb, 24 degree deadrise, stepped-hull 25 footer gets 2.2 MPG at those speeds. At my cruising speed of 32 MPH, I get 2.6 MPG.
