Garmin 230 GPS Aquiring Satellites

I have an older Garmin 230 and it quit acquiring satellites. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem or do I need to purchase a new one.

Without special equipment, the only easy check is the antenna path. If you can open it, check for loose or broken connections to the antenna.
