Just ordered and new solas amita 4 blade 14 1/4 x 21" to replace the factory 3 blade 14 1/4 x 23". I am hoping this will improve the hole shot and keep the rpm about the same or slightly lower. I have read good things about this prop. Will let you know after this weekend. May need to step down to a 19 pitch 4 blade.

It may help your hole shot but your RPMs should go up about 400 RPM.

I will report. The engine is not FI. 190hp carb'd

Tried the new prop today and I am pretty happy. Three guys, cooler, and other supplies. Big difference in the hole shot and getting up on plane. WOT was 4500rpm and 40-42mph according to the gauges. Taking six adults out sunday. Will be curious how it performs.

previous performance was a lot higher rpm with about the same top end. getting a lot better hole shot now.
