low-high dome/2-3 ring stack??

how or why would two motors same size use a high or low,,2 or 3 ring setup,does the highdome have more compression,,is the 3 ring piston preferd for better sealing?

High dome has more compression and the 3 ring runs cooler as rings help pull heat from piston...

thanks,,,is the wrist pin raised or lowerd to make a high-low dome? if you was putting in all pistons could you swap to diff dome height?

You can mix and match low and high dome piston without affecting performace much, and the high dome has a longer deflector ,wrist pin height is the same..
