I had to repossess my 1977 Sea Ray 240 Weekender ( Long story) When I picked it up ,It had standing water up the bottom of the oil pan. I drained it on the way home. I removed all flooring,Stringers, foam.I am trying to remove the gas tank , but it won't budge. Any ideas would be helpfull.

sorry bro...if I was there , I could probably help you...that thing didn't grow there...so , it should be removable.....make some exploratory cuts around it...see what they reveal...the bottom of the tank may be stuck to the foam below it...get out the sawz-all with a long blade....only cut what is easy to cut...that will be the foam

if its foamed down you could take a blade out of a hack saw and cut as much as you can out, use lots of prybars and wedges on one side it will put stress on the foam making it eaiser to cut pry pry pry a way, good luck.....

Why do you want to remove the tank? Does it leak? Just curious.
