force 150 no start just a few burps...

recently installed a new piston. Piston went due to water pump failure! replaced water pump aswell took out on lake everything was fine for about an hour or so then quit... motor still firing but will not fully start and keep running. It will start for 1 second and then die immediatly. have looked over fuel and spark issues looks good have been looking over all electrical seems to look fine. does anyone have any suggestions or has this happened to you??

compression is all good. fuel is all good. like I said all it does is start for a brief second or two and dies. it seems like electrical??

Since it was torn down, you have to go through the reassembly process. Check timing, maybe the flywheel key wasn't replaced right and it sheared.

went in through in take did not remove any mager parts caught all 16 bearings did not lose any of them went back together with no problem..any other suggestions? thankyou!:redface:
