On the front of the key switch (next to the Key Hole) is a number (very small) you may need a glass to see it. If you can read it you can get a replacement.

Also Johnson/Evenrude dealers may have a key ring with all the keys, that is a last resort.

I replaced the switch, took all of about 30 min and cost me 33 bucks, the key, if you can find it, is about 15 bucks

you can start it if you disconnect the large red harness connection, and jump directly to the starter, but, you wont be able to shut it down unless you use the manual choke, its a dangerous ,thing to do ,but can be done if necessary,as suggested look for that number, its likely a 2 digit number on the side of the slot key goes in,unfortunatly the numbers often wear off, magnifying glass may help

A "real" locksmith can make you a key from the code. Problem is, "real" locksmiths are hard to find these days. The kid at Walgreens isn't a locksmith.

Any Evinrude dealer can get you a key.

Real locksmith cost more than $39.00 buy a new ignition switch, you get 2 keys for free :)
