I replaced the manifold on my mercruiser 350 260 HP 1978 model. Now there is oil on the intake wiped it off and it keeps coming back. This is a edelbrock performer EPS aluminum intake. Anyone seen this B4??? Is not coming from the gasket it appears to be coming through the aluminum just laying on the manifold just below the carb.

Rest assured that the oil is not passing through the aluminum

Are the vent tubes hooked back up to the flame arrester?

Did you use sealent on the bolts?

I did not use sealant on the bolts. Thanks that is probably the issue.

777, I have seen it a million times, on those older motors, you need to put sealent on the two bolts in the center right below the carb on both sides, those four bolts go into the oil valley and oil is coming up through the threads. Buz
