Throttle question

I own a 1985 Bayliner Capri w/ Force 85hp O/B. The throttle is pretty sloppy & worn out, it works but I'd like a new one. I found a guy parting out a 1990 Bayliner Capri I/O. Will the throttle from this boat work with my Force O/B? Are throttle's basically all the same? I don't have tilt & trim, but this one did, will this make any difference?

You need to check the cables.If the cables are the same it will probably work.
Make sure the connectors match too.J

Thanks for the reply JJ, Here's the issue with that, It's on Ebay & I really can't look it over. I guess I could ask for a picture but if the guy is going to go through the trouble of removing it he'll be expecting me to buy it. I'm not even sure if there's one on the boat, I just emailed him asking if he had it. The motor is gone from the boat, now that I think about it the throttle most likely went with that.... I'll wait for his reply on Ebay & go from there I guess, Thanks again
