1976 9.9 sea horse fuel mixture

Can anyone tell me what the mixture ratio for a 10r76g (9.9 seahorse 1976 year) engine is. I have heard from 32:1 to 50:1 not sure don't want to foul it or melt it down either.

50:1 is correct for all models from 1964 onwards

That is near enough 1 pint of oil in 6 gallons

More precisely
2.56 fluid ounces per US gallon
3.2 fluid ounces per UK, or Imperial, gallon

20ml per litre in the rest of the world outside the USA

2% if you are a mathematician
