Now to the problem.I was cranking the engine to get oil around the engine,I removed the oil pressure sender, sure enough she squirted oil. There is a threaded hole near the oil pressure sender that I though was for the oil pressure switch(elec fuel pump),but there was no oil coming out of it.It doesn look original, but made by the engine builder. Its the silver threaded plug near the rear housing in the pic.Anyone know what purpose its serves, there is no oil coming out of it.

Should just I use a T adapter and fit the oil pressure switch with the oil pressure sender.

Looks like that hole is in the flywheel area and there would be no oil there (just air). Why it was installed is questionable but it could have been installed for location of an inductive pickup. As for the oil pressure sender you can use a "T" but make sure you use a short nipple between the block and "T". Using one that is too long can cause it to break due to vibration.

...pardon my wild flingin' guess but if that block had a 'former life', could that hole have been for a crankshaft position sensor?

just foward and slightly above the oil filter is a port that is used for the oil pressure switch.
