First off I would like to thank everybody who has helped answering my problems ive had repowering my boat. Its starting to take shape and only waiting for a few parts/minor issues.
New reman vortec longblock, performer intake, edelbrock marine carb, san juan full fwc,new hge alum manifolds, new distributor, newplugs and wires, new starter, replaced all elec connections and some wires.I havent hooked up the carb with fuel yet,but i poured some down the throat and she fired right up for a few secs,I se light at the end of the tunnel.
Warning!Some might consider this porn.
Now to the problem.I was cranking the engine to get oil around the engine,I removed the oil pressure sender, sure enough she squirted oil. There is a threaded hole near the oil pressure sender that I though was for the oil pressure switch(elec fuel pump),but there was no oil coming out of it.It doesn look original, but made by the engine builder. Its the silver threaded plug near the rear housing in the pic.Anyone know what purpose its serves, there is no oil coming out of it.
Should just I use a T adapter and fit the oil pressure switch with the oil pressure sender.
