For the 9000000 time again,

Sorry guy's this is part of the triple check on the trim sender gauge.

Trim gauge has four wires.
power in 12+ vdc--YES
Ground- YES
illumination wire- yes
Sender wire?????

Shorted sender wire stud to ground, needle did not move!!

so the gauge is hooped???
