Boat is a 2005 Bayliner 195 Classic with the 3.0 L mercruiser
I have developed a ticking noise this season that i've been running around with for about 3 or 4 months now. I thought maybe it just needed a tune-up but it's still ticking, it's really noticable when idling, but quites down once throttle is given. It hasn't hurt the performance of the boat at all, and the oil looks like oil - not milky or diluted.
It doesn't sound like the video with the blown headgaket, but I found a video on youtube that has the exact same symptoms i'm experiencing.

Juding by the number of youtube videos, this must be a pretty common with the 3.0L. Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance.
