Compression Test

Hello to everyone, I just did a compression test on my 1981 35hp johnson motor and the results where top cylinder110 bottom was 115 and i did warm up the motor before doing the test. Is this pretty good or just ok for this motor. Thanks

That's ok. Don't get hung up on precise numbers.

As long as the compression is with in 10% of each other on all cylinder the motor is fine.

Do a decarb if you haven't , that may bring them up or closer but what you have is fine.

I like your question about Compression Test. It is very helpful and interesting for every one who want to know about it. According to me i think that your 1981 35hp Johnson motor compression test is very good, i think that you do not have to be worry about this thing.
