1990 90 horse outboard force

i have checked all the forums and some people on here seem to have pretty much the same problems i am havin but it seems when the problem is fixed they dont update when and if the problem gets fixed so here i go i was tubin yesterday and after about an hour we stopped and shut the boat off to switch riders and when we took off the motor was now running at less than half the power but it never stalled out and it was running great just loss of power any suggestions from someone who has had the same problem?

Do a spark and compression test.Then check the fuel pump diaphram.That's a start.J

ok so i did a compression and spark test everything was fine my mechanic told me to throw some seafoam in and try that he said he had his carborater rebuilt and it did not help his situation so he threw seafoam in and it fixed his problem i did that and everything is fine now it even idles better so i hope this helps other people out too although not the same situation for some but maybe this cheap fix can help others
