What year is my 350 Mag MPI Horizon?

Mercury MerCruiser<br />350 Mag MPI Horizon<br />Serial # 0L673252<br /><br />Hi,<br /><br />This is probably my first post in this “inboard” forum. I picked up a 1982 Grady White 256 Wahoo up in Maine this past weekend and brought her on a 2 day/144 mile trip home. I want to do a complete tune up now so I need to order some parts. Plugs, wires, cap and rotor to start. <br /><br />The fist thing I need to know is the year of this motor. Serial number is 0L673252, I’m guessing 2000, and is the “L” for left hand? Any of these numbers mean anything else?<br /><br />The only book I have on this is the “Operation, Maintenance and Warranty Manual”. I’d like to get something a little more detailed. You can go to Mercurypartsexpress.com and enter any Mercury serial number and find parts numbers and drawings. I entered your SN and got the following:<br /><br />Parts & Accessories Category Selection<br /><br /> MIE (350 HORIZON MPI 71C BOB FWC) <br />Serial Number: 0L673252 Model Number: 3F4107JM1<br /><br />It shows all parts for your engine.

There's no meaning in the numbers, they're just a serial number. And yes, it's 2000.
