I just worked on a 27ft Cobalt.496HO with 10k worth of custom exhaust and through hulls....LOUD!!
Hand made SS polished headers so the guy said...

I could not listen to that all day.
Beautiful boat though...

I think i would have used all that money to switch the Bravo out to a Bravo III

My 08 larson came with factory corsa side exhaust...I love it and pry won't own another boat without it...however I have a 350 mag and my next boat will have a 496HO. I just can only think of my older brother's 91 S-10 with striaght pipes...not my first choice by far for a cool sound but that's just me.

BTW here's a pic of the side exit exhaust....makes it much more pleasant climbing in the rear of the boat and no nasty staining under the swim platform either
