Can anyine ID this boat??

I just inherited this boat and can't find much info on it. It has a gullwing hull design like an Evinrude, but has Johnson all over it. ID plate under engine housing states: Model #977001 Serial #WI 17353. Says "one fifty" on the rear (possible HP?). Any info would be greatly appreciated (for boat ID and just geneal guidance in restoring this old thing.) Yup thats a Johnson boat with a V6 Buick/Jeep 155HP engine hooked to a early electric shift drive unit. Hope it's a labor of love, because thats double the trouble

You have one of the rare ones...most had a open bow. The old Johnsons and Chris Crafts had open bows, and were very stable boats. But like Laddies said you have a engine problem. Good Luck!!

Thanks for the info Laddie. The lady who gave me the boat said she had it on the water 3 years ago: it's been under a carport since. Do you have any idea what year the boat is? Or where on the vessel I could find anohter model/serial ID plate? Looking up Info on Ken Cook.com doesn't list any of those model #'s. Also, how do you know it's an electric drive? Sorry to ask so many questions, but I just became a boat owner last week. Thanks for your patience.

The 150 HP V/6 231 cu. in engine was only built 1965, 65 and 66. In 1967 and newer it's listed as 155 HP

Thanks for the link Paul, found an exact copy of my boat in the picture gallery. Turns out it's a '66 Johnson Reveler. How can I tell if it's an electric drive? Are the Selco manuals worth the money? Thanks again for the info.
