starting problem

I have a 1978 birchcraft with a volvo 190a v8 and it was working fine but I went to start it and nothing at all! I checked the batteries but their ok and I did a charge to make sure can anyone help me I don't know what to do???

I have to assume you mean the engine isn't even cranking over since you say "nothing at all".<br />You need to check at the start solenoid on the engine and see if you have power to the small terminal on the solenoid. If not you are going to have to trace back through the wiring harness to find out where the power stopped. Could be the main wiring harness connection (seen lots of the old square blocks corroded up and not work), neutral safety switch, or ignition switch.
