Trim tabs not working

trim tabs were fine -- now nothing not a sound. checked fuse - ok. I was cleaning the bilge scrubing an spraying could I have possibly gotten the connections wet. although I cleaned on thurs can they still be wet by sat.-- what else can I look at as a cause for them not working. they are benet Tabs on a 2000 searay.??<br /><br />Thanks<br />Cool It

Fresh water cleaning shouldn't make it stop working. You may have unplugged the connection at the pump, or knocked the ground loose, have a look.

Don't mess with us armature's. Call out the "Tabman" with a post here. He works for Bennett and will have you fixed in a heart beat.

I love Bennet trim tabs. I have seen their units still work after being submerged in salt water. I think you knocked a connector loose. Crawl in there and find the wiring harness (for the trim tab motor), check the multi-pin connector to make sure it didn't get knocked loose.

Thanks guys tabs are working again - yellow wire was not making contact-that drives the motor for tabs up
