I'm restoring an old starcraft with a walkthrough windshield. This boat never had a hinged middle windshield and I want to make one. Anyone know where I can get the same aluminum as original? It's the kind where the sliding snaps go on.
Your best bet might be to get a middle window from a boat salvage yard and remove the glass, recut the frame to fit your boat, and have a glass shop cut down the glass and reinstall it for you. I don't think storm window frame is going to be strong enough or be able to hold the weigh of safety glass. Good Luck.
