4.3l intake manifold

Can you use a after market 4 bbl intake like a aluminum holley to up grade a 2 bbl intake? It's for a 1986 4.3l with 12 bolts.

You can use a aftermarket intake just be sure to use good gaskets... If you boat in the salt I would think corrosion might be a problem..

You want to use the edelbrock performer intake for this motor they make a direct marine replacement and it will wake that motor up!!<br />I did the same thing in my bluewater.<br />You will only like this if the Idea of 10-20 hp,<br />A few mph on top speed and better part throttle fuel economy sounds like something you want. <br />Good luck!

And make sure it's a Marine carb, not an automotive.

Is this Edelbrock marine performer you're talking about aluminum?
