I have a 1995 Chaparral 2135 with a 5.7 Merc. I think I'm finding out the hard way that I didn't winterize like I should. I started up the engine last week and seamed to run fine. I looked in the engine compartment and saw water leaking from both the right and left exhaust manifolds. I removed the engine cover and saw that both exhaust manifolds have cracks. I replaced them (new gaskets for risers and manifold) and THEN checked my oil.... Yikes, major milk shake mixture... I took the old exhaust manifolds and poured water into the riser ports to see if it would leak through into the exhaust ports... nothing.

I changed the oil twice and it still looks white. After I pumped all the oil out the second time, I could here something leaking inside the motor. I waited about five minutes, then pumped some more, and out comes water..... A compression check shows all cylinders at 150+. Is there anything else I can check before writing this off as extreme stupidity and replace the block?
