Out Saturday

Ok<br />I went out saturday on a shake down cruise on lake Erie. Boat ran great,200Hp Omc 1981 stringer. My question is when I was coming up the channel I noticed a different sound other then the motor idleing nothing grinding or scraping just a different sound. I didn't feel anything in the steering or anywhere else. It came and went,boat shifted great no problems, I was just wondering if there was a drive problem would I feel it? <br />Thank's<br />Beef

You worry too much! <br /><br />Nextime... Have somebody take over the helm while you open the doghouse and listen. It's the only way to get peace of mind... or start the worry process all over again! <br /><br />BTW... you're a better man than I am... going out in all that junk on Saturday... you must have need a fix... bad!

Erie on saturday? The weather was mostly crummy and partially crappy. What is you boats LOA? i can just picture 60 degree 3 - 5+ foot waves crashing over the bow. bbbrrrrrrrr

22'Skiff Craft lapstrake wood boat. It was a little rough but we did fine. Yes we did get wet, LOVE IT!<br />Beef
