Hey guys.
Have a 95 VP SX Cobra. Had it running today with the drive down, and the muffs with the hose. I honestly can not remember what it looked like last time I did this, but something looked strange.

When it is running, water is coming out from under the anode on the front of the drive. There is water coming from the transom, which is warm, and water coming from underneeth the anode in front, again also warm.

I looked through my shop manual, but it realy does not say much, but it looks that there may be an o-ring in that ware between the lower and upper for some water tube. any idea? should water come out there or not???

Thanks!! Would like to go boating on the long weekend

YEs that's normal.. Water comes from all over the place on that drive. Also comes out under the sides of the cavitation plate as well as the prop

M

I get worried when i DON'T see water coming out of those places! I just flushed mine two hours ago, so I have it fresh in my memory :)

Actually, if it's a duoprop it's broken. Please package it up and ship it to me. I will in turn ship you back a working single prop SX ;) :p

Hahah. Duoprops are nice, but the one fear I have is having to replace a prop. They are pretty expensive.
