Well, it's a sad day..... Not really. I sold my boat today. Owning one takes time, money and alot of dedication. I had 2 of the 3.. Lol
Anyway, just wanted to THANK everyone, Don, Bondo, DHP and ALL the others for ALL the advice and help (worked on the thing all winter and I still had things to fix). Guys, 'if' I ever get another boat, this is where I'll come to. Hugs and kisses to all you guys and Thanks again!!!!! ;)

Gee, all that work just to sell it
What you need is a brand new boat. That way you get one summer without all the "time, money and alot of dedication" used for repairs to make it useable. :)

New boat no guarantee of "trouble free" boating as if such a concept even exists, especially if you own an Mercruiser I/O. Have had my new (delivered 8/2004) Bravo 2 in the shop four times to find a lube leak. Supposedly pressure tested and vacuum tested each time. Just launched again so keep your fingers crossed for me. I bought a new boat in order to have a "trouble free" experience. I also know that equipment that moves needs maintenance and breaks sometimes. The long and short of it, however, is that I no longer have any real confidence in my outdrive. I wonder if Mercruiser cares?

I didn't say "Trouble Free" I just meant she didn't have to put in all the "time, money and alot of dedication" into the repairs. Warranty makes it someone elses problem for at least a year.
