Re: my project almost finished

jason am now in the process of painting and fixing the emblems on a 1961 V4 75h/p to put on it. It didn't come out but with two props that year and they are 10x11 or10x12 so i'll prob. go with the 12 . The spec, say it is suppose to make 75 h/p at 4500 so i hope after a good carb job and tune up she ought to be real strong
don't have no need for great speed but do like strong. The boat is rated @ 85 max so it should scoot along pretty good.
I watched all your posts on the beast and followed your Q hope to put it in the water in a couple of weeks
BTW the compression is running 1--110 #2---110 #3 105 #4 115

Great job bubba .. but yanno, for some reason I expected a Starflite on the back, not a Fondue, what happened to the V-4?

I swear I havent smoked crack in ages, lol

V-4 is usually Johnnyrude, whatcha doing with a tower of chowder on the back?

:p :p :p

(Owned a 200 Black Max oh so very briefly, lol, I gots hecklin rights, and of course that Mercruiser 215 E made of Unobtainium, all kidding aside, beautiful job, and I like the LOOK of a Merc, I just think that its a poor choice of color if you are out on a sunny day in the summer and have to work on your motor, Blisterin Hot Black isnt a good color for something typically used most on sunny summer days! That looks like a real powerhouse motor, I bet it flies, takes me two johnnyrudes to make that much horses, lol

Unless I whip out the Big Johnson, lol)

:D :D :D

:p
