I am taking a 14 foot carib RIB and have remoned the hypalon and used the fiberglass hull and deck as the basis for a runabout ala the playboy of the fifties. I used plywood to extend the bottom and make the sides and the deck and dashboard etc. I used fiberglass tape and poly resin to "glue" everthing together and now have heaps of body work to do. Has anybody else ever done this and how did it turn out?
