Has anyone had any experience with SeaFox Boats? I'm looking at the 230 CC as a possible boat.I'd like some constructive input along with reasons why or why not you like the boat.
Thanks,
Randy :p

Re: SeaFox

Hi Randy,
I have a Sea Fox 197CC and so far I like it alot.
Bought it last season at Chatlee so it's still new to me.
Taking her out this weekend for the first time of '08.
I can only tell you about these boats from my experience.
Some like 'em and some don't. Here's a pic of mine.

Re: SeaFox

Guys, I just traded my 06 197 for a 08 236. I knew it was going to be a good day last Feb. when the wife said, "Lets go to the boat show". I love the 197, just needed a bigger boat when all the family wants to go out. I could fish all day on the 197 and burn at the most 10 gallons of fuel. That would include going 14-15 miles off shore. That was sweet boat to me, I miss it but am looking forward to the 236. Chatlee is my dealer and I have refered several buyers to them. I believe in Seafox and have watched their quality improve over the last 4 years. Enjoy your boats!

Re: SeaFox

They do cheap out a little bit on some stuff I dont know about the new ones but the older ones my year the wiring is kind of skimpy it sits in the hull unprotected I have had a couple issues with that and my leaning post with the foot rest is an ankle buster everytime im out never fails i bust my ankle up. but it has been a good boat. It is a very stable boat and handles 4-6 footers very well. But now I am looking at a 2008 boston whaler 240 outrage it may be mine soon! good luck with your purchase I'm sure you will be happy. By the way my seafox is good for at least 40 mi offshore.
