Im looking for some really nice contoured 22"-24" high back Bass Boat seats. Not your normal folding cheap looking seat. I want something like you might find in todays new Bass Boats. Im looking for the driver and passenger seats. It would be nice if they folded. Anyone have a good Idea where to look? Ive about exhausted my search.

Ok, but how on earth can one company justify $500 for a seat? If I bought one of them it better come with a big breasted blonde that....well nevermind. :D

Did you look at BPS?

This one is very similar to original bass boat seats.

I have one of these. It's worth the price, would rather have more lumbar support, maybe like this one.

You just upgrading, or do those have some damage doesn't show up in the photo? Faded, maybe?

If ya replace 'em, what are you gonna do with those? I'd consider making a reasonable offer - can't say for sure right now just what my budget is. They'd be an upgrade in my boat, which has four seats that match in the sense that no two are alike - sort of a garage-sale-chic sort of effect. :)

I would just have your's re-upholstered. A good shop could also make any changes you want to the form.

When I bought the boat 2 years ago, (When the pictures were taken), they looked pretty good but they were a bit brittle, (Hard), in spots. So over the last two years, and with the punishment of my clients stepping on them and putting there knees into them, the seating prortion has split from side to side. They are also showing fading and just generalaly coming apart at the seams. (They are after all aproaching 20 years old), Im having the little seats on the lids in front of the consoles reapolstered as we speek, ($75.00), It depends on how she does as to whether I will pursue the rest. Seeing the prices of new seats, it looks like the best way to go is to have them redone. I can then dictate how I want them. I keep watching Ebay also, every once in awhile there are some great bench configurations go through.

I just picked up the boat from the dealer I had it at and swung it by the opolstery shop where my cusions are. Because of the intracacy of the many panels, they would cost about $450-500.00 to just have the two main seats done. Im still looking.

 Man! I had no idea that fixing/replacing seats was that expensive! At least now I know to seriously consider the price of having to do this when looking at a used boat.

Are there no "boat junkyards" around that might have used seats in better condition?

spots

Re: Bass Boat seats

Ebay, search boat seats. Carefull, don't run up the ones I'm bidding on. (there are some Tracker seats on there) Look to be a late model style.
My current project has a bench seat for the middle (where yours are two buckets). I'm going to buy two hinged seats like what you have in the back and see if I can remove the hinges and mount them solid in driver/passenger locations.
Then again, my upholsery guy is LOTS cheaper in case I can't find all matching colors.
He recently re-upholsered ALL the seats in the skeeter off to the left for $350.00 (driver, passenger, middle pads, back seat, front butt seat).
