I bought a boat that has a lot of water stain on the bottom(glass hull).Looks like a few years worth and I have tried several household cleaners to clean it with no luck. I would like to know what would work to clean it off. Thanks in advance.

No I haven't tried CLR but I did find something today that worked great. The Works tub and shower cleaner.Spray it on and wait about 60 sec. and wipe it off. Find it in household cleaners at the store.

Muriatic Acid works well. Be very careful and wear gloves, but works everytime I use it.

The Works works. So does ZAP!

Muriatic acid is harsh, but it will get anything the Oxalic acid doesn't. I would stick with the Oxalic acid stuff (The Works, ZAP, et al.) because it is less hazardous.
