Motorguide bow mount only has high speed

I have a MG Brute competition model #765 bow mounted trolling motor with foot controls that only works at full speed, no change when you turn the knob or switch it to momentary high bypass, mom. variable or constant on. Any ideas, common failures or ways to test.

99% sure mosfet board out in motor. rebuild time.

How old is it? reason I ask is, I got an older one, but the mom/c.on/hsbp switch wasn't working (I only had constant on). I removed & disassembled - it was full of crud.
