Is there a method to "tighten" the foot control on this model? I wander across the water like a drunken sailor.<br />The foot control seems to be too "loose." If I take my foot off the foot control or fail to apply the correct pressure the prop will spin the shaft any which direction.<br /><br />Heel down just a little bit and the motor turns.Like I said, I look like a drunk out on the water trying to steer this POS.<br /><br />Also, doesn't operate in speeds 1 and 2 but works in all other speeds,but that's another story.

i just bought a trolling motor just like this mine works like a champ.i not sure about steering mine works good i like them to steer a little hard mine works on all speeds.is this new?i cant use mine above 3 speed it throw ya out of the boat.im sorry to hear ya having trouble i see this all the time about mg.i see people all the time saying mg sucks.ive had both and i dont see mk or mg is better than 1 another.
