I just purchased a 115hp evinrude, serial #j0002618, model number 1156930, i don't know what year, I also can't seem to find the excess water hole (pisser hole) on the side is it possible It doesn't have one? thankyou for your help
Hi Ed<br />I couldn't match up those #s. If they are in fact correct, I am going to say your motor is a 1969 model. Your are correct, that model dosen't have a tell\tale indicator. You should see water exiting with exhaust out the exhaust relief port on the rear of the leg. Also there should be a hot light wired to the helm.
