At the “football” games in Europe, they literally “cage” the spectators (hooligans) with a chain link fence and roof to protect the teams from the crowd

Moved the boat to the marina since theyre starting to grade the side yard for the pole barn. Pulled off the winter tarp. Supposed to be in the 70s the next couple days so I figured it wouldn't hurt to air out for now after sitting. May end up out on it. Who knows lol.

This Pileated Woodpecker visited yesterday afternoon. I took the pic while sitting on my couch in the living room, through the window, about 70 feet away.

He did a number on the underside of that branch, then went topside and dug in deep.

Beautiful bird. Cant say I have ever seen such a close up pic. There aren’t a lot of wood peckers around here but I do hear them from time to time. Not sure what kinda they are.

My wild turkey pack showed up at the shop yesterday. First sgin of spring for me. The Turkeys move closer to town in the winter.

Huh ,it was -2⁰c this morning , now its foggy as ever.
We only just started autumn ( fall )and frost usually means it will be a great day . I think the frost makes everything crisp and clean .
