60 HP Johnson lower unit

I have a 60 HP Johnson V4. Im not sure of the year, but the model # is VXL-13A. The lower unit oil seems to get a milky white color after I take it out. And the oil also seems to seep out of a tiny hole located on the left side (standing behind the motor)just above the upper fill plug. Is this normal? Or is it an indication for new seals? Any advice is welcome....

Hi JDC,<br />Yes I think from what you have said it's an indication that you need to reseal that lower unit.
