Pull Rope

I broke the pull rope on my mid 80's 4hp Johnson Outboard. I took it apart and there was a plastic washer that was broken so I need to get all the washers and plastic washers that go with that part. Im not a boat mechanic by anymeans so I may not be able to fix it myself. Does anyone in the Dallas area care to help? (I of coarse will pay you to help me out) I called a few boat repair places and they are all 3 weeks behind and wanted $60 minimum. I was hoping to get it fixed before then and for a little cheaper. Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,<br />i dont know if this will help u but i would call regency marine in rowlett. they had every hard to find piece i have ever needed for my evinrude 115.<br />the number is 972-475-0100.

You could also try Patterson Marine in Haltom City. I took my boat there a couple of weeks ago for a tune-up and had it back in 4 days, including a weekend. Ronnie Patterson is the owner and it is a small shop. The number is 817-838-0501. Good luck.
