Does anyone have a copy of modification buletin for 50, 60, & 70HP Johnson and Evinrude from 1985 and newer. I know overboard stream needs to be moved from lower part of exhaust chamber to top to eliminate air pocket which causes two top cylinders to overheat causing engine damage. Seems not all dealers are fimiliar with this problem.

Plug the existing hole with plug #321164. Drill and tap a new hole in the top of the BLOCK, not the water jacket cover, on the flat (horizontal) surface at the top. If they dont have a bulletin, just tell them you want it in the same place as the newer models. The parts catalog shows the placement on the newer ones.<br /><br />Good luck!
