Looking to fit a trim/tilt unit to a 1971 Evinrude 50HP

I recently purchased a pontoon boat with a strong running Evinrude 50hp Model 50173. I use it on Ninigret Salt Pond in RI where the depth ranges from 5' - 2'. I currently have manual trim which is tough on the prop/bottom. Anyone know if I can retrofit a trim/tilt unit to it? My other option is a jacking plate arrangement. All help will be appreciated.<br /><br />Bob
